University of North Dakota Student Wellness Center*
Grand Forks, ND
Student wellness has become an integral part of student life at the University of North Dakota, and it plays a big role in their school-life balance. While first developing The Wellness Program at the University of North Dakota, the planning included a student wellness center that would emphasize the seven dimensions of wellness: physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, social, environmental, and occupational.
The 106,000 s.f. facility helps cultivate the wellness needs of the UND community by offering a variety of programs and services including personal training, rock climbing, cooking lessons, and intramural sports. The building also includes office and administrative space and a kitchen.
